I am a clinician researcher with a focus on transdisciplinary work that knits together current allopathic and non-Western research frameworks. My interests include: examining trauma and psychedelic practices through the dynamic lenses of medical anthropology & nursing, integrating qualitative elements of research into predominantly quantitative evaluative evidence-based techniques especially in the Global South, and non-hierarchical models of higher education training in healthcare. As a consultant I provide expertise in the areas of global health, expansion of non-profit organizations to include more local community voices, dynamic higher education models, psychedelic research, and occasionally on projects involving public lands and health systems infrastructure through my company The Senah Consultancy.
